I Am The Master Of Managing My Time

“By labor we can find food and water, but all of our labor
will not find for us another hour.”

                                                             - Kenneth Patton

For most of us “time” is fair. Regardless of race, class, wealth or health, we are endowed with the same gift of 24 hours in every day to do as you please.

People often fear that they have no time to accomplish what they plan. But often the problem is not that people don’t have enough time, it’s that they’re not using the time they have properly!

You see, having too much time means that you are not fully utilizing your time. If you have too much time on your hands, it is most likely you are wasting time and being unproductive. On the other hand, if you have too little time and you don’t seem to be reaching your goals, then you must consider managing your time more wisely. You must make sure you are doing the right activities that are consistent with your goals.

We all know that wasted time will never come back. It is something money cannot buy. But managing your time does not mean that you must have an extremely busy schedule in order to take advantage of every single minute of every day.

A smart business person is able to put time to work for him by leveraging his knowledge, skills, technology and other assets to free up more time. Managing your time well through self-discipline and leveraging it through a system that does most of the time consuming work is one of the smartest things you can do in business.

Wise investors let their money earn more money for them while they do other things they enjoy. Millionaire business owners don’t do all the work themselves. They use their money to hire or outsource other people to do the work while they earn even more money in the process. That’s called “leveraging” your money and you should also learn to do the same thing with your money and time.

Lesson: At a typical job you are trading your time away for a very limited amount of money. But when you own your own business you can make much more money buying other peoples’ time – Think about it!
