I Will Be Confident

“A person with confidence in himself will gain the confidence of others.”

Successful business people tend to be very confident and their presence radiates that confidence to everyone they talk to. But unknown to most people, confidence goes hand in hand with fear. A person without confidence is no different from a person who is unconfident because of fear. The only difference is confident people acknowledge their fears and deal with them accordingly.

But fear always seems so powerful that people are afraid to confront it. The truth is taking action destroys fear. If a person confronts his fear and takes the first step, he or she realizes that it is not as scary as they thought it was. Remember also that inaction only strengthens fear therefore action must be taken as quickly as fear sets in.
