I Will Not Expect Instant Gratification 

“Sacrifice today for tomorrow, or tomorrow for today, it is your choice.”

This is another mindset that can make or break your business.

Often in when you’re just starting up your business, you need to put in many, many hours of groundwork which may not produce results for months and you will have to do it CONSISTENTLY!

When you are in business for yourself one of the most common setbacks you may face is lack of time and cash flow.

You’ll have expenses that require you to spend some extra money. You’ll be faced with many temptations when it comes to money as you might not consistently receive money every month, especially in the start up phase of your business. To say the least, there will be dry patches.

Would you be willing to sacrifice your weekly bowling sessions, Saturday night movies, expensive buffet dinners or even buying that new car? That money can be invested back into your business. Are you prepared to put your social life on hold if it means securing your future by sacrificing your present?

Again we are not just talking about money here, but also time. And don’t pay any attention to the ridicule from others (especially friends and family) when you do not have the results to show them right way.

Most of the people in the world today are not mentally prepared for these sacrifices and they simply won’t understand your new mindset. That’s why it’s so important for you to stay focused on your goals and remind yourself that it will all be worth it in the future.

Lesson: Given a choice to work hard today or tomorrow, I’d choose today otherwise there may be an unpleasant tomorrow.
