I Will Have A Mentality Of Abundance Not Scarcity
“The world is not like a pie where a larger slice for me means
a smaller slice for you. The world is like a kitchen, which produces pies after pies.”
Last but not least and
possibly the most important mindset that you must adopt is the abundance mentality. It is the opposite of the scarcity
mentality. The scarcity mentality is a clouded form of thinking that leads people to live life as though the resources in the world are
limited. They think that if they were to get rich, someone else in the world would have to become poor. For most of us, in life we have the
ability to create more out of less or in some cases, something out of nothing.
Paul Zane
Pilzer exposes the key error of the belief in scarcity that leads to a misunderstanding of
the process of creating wealth. He mentions in his book that “A society’s wealth is determined not by the supply of physical resources
which are supposedly limited, but by human ingenuity which constantly redefines what counts as a resource in the first
place.”
Take for example a software
programmer. When he creates a software program, (by typing specific codes and commands into another software program) isn’t that really just
creating a new ‘something’ out of a resource that he or she already has?
If you live life with a
mentality of abundance, you will believe and TRULY understand that there is more than enough in the world to go around. You will become more
positive and more productive. As long as human beings strive to do what they do best for the good of society, true wealth will never run out.
It will just keep on growing and growing.
True wealth is created by
ethical business people who work hard at developing the quality of their products and improving their services to improve the lives of others.
Competition encourages business to strive to constantly make better products and services.
Where there is healthy
amount of competition there is a hungry and profitable market out there waiting for you to sell your product and services to them if you are
willing use this course to its full capacity, which will allow you to create valuable resources that people will buy, out the greatest
resource in the world – your brain.
Lesson: Be willing to
help others achieve their goals as you pursue your goals and making money in the process will be a natural “side benefit”.
